About Us

The most memorable holiday decorations are often the pieces that return to the home year after year. A cherished figurine, a carefully arranged Santa display, or a small decorative scene can become part of a family's seasonal traditions. Department 56 celebrates this connection between collecting, storytelling, and holiday memories through an extensive range of decorative collectibles.

Beyond miniature village buildings, the brand offers several distinctive collections, including Snowbabies porcelain figurines, Possible Dreams Santa figures, seasonal ornaments, and character-inspired holiday décor. Each collection explores a different side of festive decorating, from playful winter scenes and traditional Christmas imagery to imaginative designs inspired by popular entertainment and familiar characters.

Snowbabies collectibles bring a gentle, nostalgic feeling to shelves, mantelpieces, and seasonal displays. Their expressive characters and winter-themed designs make them appealing to collectors who enjoy small decorative pieces with personality. Possible Dreams Santas offer another style of holiday collecting, featuring Santa-themed figures presented in a variety of festive scenes and settings.

Holiday decorating can be as simple or elaborate as you choose. A few figurines can create a subtle seasonal accent, while a coordinated arrangement of Santas, ornaments, miniature buildings, and decorative accessories can become a focal point in a living room or entryway. Rotating different pieces throughout the season also gives a familiar collection a fresh appearance each year.

Collectibles can make thoughtful gifts for people who enjoy decorating, preserving family traditions, or adding new pieces to an established collection. When choosing a gift, consider the recipient's preferred characters, seasonal themes, collection history, and available display space. Packaging, dimensions, materials, and care requirements are also worth checking before ordering.

Our approach to holiday décor is centered on the memories and personal traditions that objects can inspire. Whether you are searching for a winter-themed figurine, a Santa collectible, or an ornament to mark a special occasion, explore decorative pieces that bring character and warmth to seasonal celebrations.
